Frances Febus  is a State of Florida licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She completed her Clinical Fellowship in June 2009, and is a candidate for her Certificate of Clinical Competency.

She was awarded her Bachelors of Science (2003) and Masters of Arts(2008) from the University of Central Florida.

Fran began her work in the fall of 2004 at the University of Central Florida Communication Disorder Clinic. Upon graduation, she worked as a contract SLP in Polk County charter schools serving children from Kindergarten through 8th grade, as well as adults in intensive care and outpatient rehabilitation at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center.  

Fran specializes in the areas of:

Child Speech (Articulation) and Language disorders

Development Delays (I.e., Down Syndrome)

Autism Spectrum Disorders / Pervasive Development Disorders (ASD/ PDD)

Early intervention for speech and language delays (children 0-3)

Speech and language treatment for mentally handicapped children, adolescents and adults.

Adult Aphasia

Swallowing Disorders.
